Frequently Asked Cadillac Service Questions

How often should I get a Cadillac oil change?

Most Cadillac vehicles are equipped with an Oil Life Monitoring System.  This system interprets your Cadillac’s speed and engine temperature and continuously monitors operating conditions.  The Oil Life Monitoring System also monitors your personal driving habits and your area’s climate conditions to let you know when it is time to change the oil in your Cadillac.  It is recommended that you change the oil in your Cadillac at least once every year even if the Oil Life Monitoring System says you still have oil life remaining.

How often should I rotate my tires?

You should have your tires rotated every 8,000 miles.  This will extend the life of your tires and ensure you get the most out of them. As a good rule of thumb, have your tires rotated every time you have your oil changed.

When should I get my brakes inspected?

Maintaining the ability to quickly and safely stop your car is incredibly important to both you and your vehicle. Brake issues can start out small but can worsen over time leading to greater repair costs. To stay the safest you can and avoid increased maintenance costs, you should have your brakes inspected every six months. Most people have this done when they rotate their tires, so they don’t forget!
